Rubber tire valves fail – it’s simply a matter of time. When this happens, you’re stuck with swapping out a spare tire, or worse. Changing a tire valve requires access to the inside the wheel, which could mean a trip to the tire shop or time-consuming dismount and remount of your tire on the trail – not anymore!

Thanks to the Colby Valve Permanent Tire Valve system, wasted afternoons are a thing of the past.

The Onyx Valve is the same design as the Permanent Valve, but made of 7075 aircraft aluminum. These valves are amazingly light, yet still strong. Onyx Valves can be installed at home, from the outside of the wheel, without tire removal, in 5 minutes or less. You will need to tighten them down with a 1/2″ socket wrench.

They are stronger than normal rubber valves and will help you avoid many common valve issues up-front. They aren’t indestructible, but they will take one heck of a beating. Consider them an amazing rigid valve that can be installed without breaking the bead. Like other Colby Valve products, they can be used as emergency valves if you carry a 1/2″ socket wrench with you.

Each package contains four valves. For fitment advice, please contact us with a picture of your valve stem opening. Colby Valve products are not direct compatible with TPMS systems that use a wheel sensor. Options include gluing your TPMS sensor to the inside of the wheel, or disabling TPMS entirely.
