    Zarges 1/2″ foam linings are precisely cut from medium density foam and line the inside of your case with a protective layer that not only protects the gear inside, but also protects the case itself.

    Each kit comprises six pieces, individually CNC cut to suit the lid, sides and bottom of a K470 or K440 aluminum case. Spray glue or other adhesive is required to affix the foam sections to the case walls. The recommended spray glue is 3M Super 77, but other adhesives such as PL Construction adhesive, or even hot melt glue, can be effective.

    If you are looking for a foam insert that surrounds equipment, consider using Pick-n-Pluck inserts.

    • Fits K470 and K440 series cases 40810, 40568, and 40678
    • Installation requires spray glue or other adhesive (3M Super 77 recommended; not included)
    • Kits will need to be cut down to fit 40810 and 40568
    • Does not fit 40564

    • 4x side liner pieces

    NOTE: At this time we are only stocking 40678 kits, which may differ in appearance and material from those officially available from Zarges. These kits use Polyethylene foam and include tabs on the lids to help with alignment. Small amounts of trimming may be required, and these kits can be cut down to fit smaller cases.

    K470 cases are perfect for roof racks and trailers, providing secure and professional storage space for extra gear that you might not want inside your vehicle. They also make excellent marine transport cases, keeping equipment away from water and spray, with the added corrosion resilience that aluminum provides. Additional uses include food storage, medical and hazardous goods, lithium batteries, and secure firearms transport.

    Certain K470 cases are designated as “Grizzly Bear Certified” by the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee. This unique bear-proof certification is required in some national parks and conservation areas throughout North America.
