We spent months testing dozens of anchors and guy line replacements to bring you the best upgrade for any camp setup – the result is our Brigade Awning Anchor Kit (BAAK)!

After extensive testing in the field, we came up with the perfect combination of simplicity and quality. BAAK is compatible with any awning or RTT on the market that uses guy lines or tie downs. Awnings and RTTs come with everything you need for securing them but we found that in extreme conditions – and for quicker setup – a new method was needed.

We’ve tested BAAK components in conditions like 24 hours of heavy rain, or a whole weekend of 50km/h+ winds, and on multiple tents, awnings and other products. The result? No loose pegs, and peace of mind!

Setup is easy – simply drive the Cawood ground anchors in parallel to the surface about 2-3 feet away from each guy line loop, attach the stretchy end of your ROK Strap to the top and the loose end at the bottom, tension up the strap and go! The spring action of the anchors combined with the bungee section on ROK Straps creates a safe and secure setup with just enough give for windy days (and the occasional trip!) Cawood Anchors are even usable in the kind of terrain incompatible with standard tent pegs – river rock, gravel, soft sand and more.
